Sylvia struggled with obesity throughout her childhood and lost 100 lbs by the age of 22. Sylvia found herself in the same predicament again: Just 5 years later but the second time around, it was harder for her to lose the weight. As she struggled with her weight loss, she realized that her focus wasn’t in the right place. Sylvia was too busy focusing on the external (the physical) when what need the most attention was her internal (the mentality). Once she shifted her focus to develop a healthier mindset, she eventually accomplished the ultimate transformation.

Sylvia has overcome many obstacles throughout her weight loss journey that has molded her to become the Fitness Instructor & Wellness Advocate she is today.
In the last 6 years, Sylvia has empowered women to see fitness as a beneficial tool that can be applied to life’s challenges that we all face. She helps women to see that their life is worth fighting for and she helps them to become better healthier versions of themselves.
Sylvia or Sylvi is a certified Group Fitness Instructor, specializing in total body workouts boot camp, and strengthening classes. She is certified to teach Spinning and Barre Fit classes. Sylvia is a YogaFit student pursuing her 200 hours to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT -200)
