Ruth is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with both clinical nutrition and wellness experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics degree from Missouri State University in Springfield Missouri. She also completed an accredited dietetic internship through the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.
Ruth has worked with children, adults, and seniors with a variety of nutrition issues. She has counseled individuals on their diet related to diabetes, heart disease, cancer, renal disorders, pulmonary disorders, failure to thrive, weight management, pregnancy, surgery, altered GI function and more. She enjoys educating and counseling individuals on a variety of nutrition topics.
Ruth specializes in custom designed treatment plans for each individual or family seeking nutrition guidance. Her nutrition knowledge is based on the most recent evidence-based research available and her colleagues consider her kind, friendly, and easy to get along with. She strives to help individuals reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle through nutrition counseling, education, and goal setting.
During her free time, Ruth enjoys being outdoors, reading, gardening, and spending time with family. She also loves cooking and baking especially when trying new healthy recipes.
