Paloma Cabrera-Lustig received her 200 hour yoga certification through Lynne Begier, Ryan Cunningham, and Renee LeBlanc at BackBay Yoga Studio in 2014 after 5 years of dedicated practice.

As a former competitive gymnast, Paloma has always been infatuated with challenging movement. When she started a disciplined and dedicated yoga practice, she realized that it could be a tool to not only continue her love for movement, but to also shape and sculpt her mind. Paloma cultivates an invigorating Vinyasa flow by integrating balance, powerful postures and calming the mind. She aims to create an experience where physical and emotional sensations are heightened for each individual, allowing them to move into deeper self-understanding, inner peace and clarity. Paloma seeks to demonstrate that the practice is a process of exploration and playfulness that can also be therapeutic. Sometimes the best way to find comfort in our own skin and heal our wounds, is to move our bodies, breathe in harmony with our movement, and be in silence. Paloma, forever a student of yoga, is devoted to guiding the practice and theory of yoga to all willing bodies in all stages of life.

    Paloma is a patient and wonderful instructor, lovely and caring. She gives clear instructions and her classes are very motivating and inspirational, challenging at every level, wherever you are in your practice. She is wise beyond her years and understands how the body moves, its strengths, challenges and limitations. She takes time to check in on your posture and is very helpful with feedback and/or encouragement.

    I've had the pleasure of attending a dozen or so of Paloma's classes, and have enjoyed each one. She is extremely knowledgable about yoga and the human body, and approaches these areas with great professionalism and transparency. Her apparent dedication and enthusiasm in her yoga practice fosters a motivating energy during each class, and the fact that none of the classes I attended were exactly the same shows that she is always trying to improve and find ways for her students to push their own personal goals. GREAT INSTRUCTOR!! I would highly recommend taking a class taught by Paloma

    Best yoga instructor I've worked with! She is the reason I got into yoga! I have been to a few classes before Paloma's and never really enjoyed it. When I started going to Paloma's classes is when I began to really enjoy yoga and now I look forward to going each week. Paloma is very friendly and knowledgable. She really does well helping you understand the proper form of each pose as well as the the benefits each pose brings. It is interesting to learn the reason why you are doing each pose and why she has certain poses in each sequence. I can't say enough good things about her and her classes!
