A big shout out here to Nancy with a huge amount of gratitude!!! I recently underwent abdominal surgery a couple weeks ago. My recovery was pretty tough, and Nancy was so awesome she met with me outside of class on her own time to show me some safe stretches to do that really helped alleviate my pain during recovery. I have been going to Nancy‘s yoga classes for several years now and she is just phenomenal. I was also student of hers during my last pregnancy, during which she always checking on me and modified movements to help me during that period of my life. She does all this selflessly and I’m so thankful for her skills and giving caring heart! Thanks Nancy!

I met Nancy two years ago when I hit a snag in my weight loss journey and thought that cardio, and only cardio, would help me get back on track. This thinking led me to my gym's Zumba class. The room was filled with great music, plenty of exercise disguised as dancing, and everyone having a great time. More importantly, it was led by an awesome instructor, Nancy, who encouraged everyone to "dance their dance."
After taking her Zumba class for a few weeks, Nancy encouraged me to take her restorative yoga class, and diversify my workouts. Nancy invited me to join her small group training class one day, and I was hooked. I have taken her small group classes now for almost 18 months and in that time, I have become strongest and healthiest I have ever been. Because of Nancy's strong knowledge of each of her clients and their abilities, Nancy knows how to make sure each person gets a good workout and also feels safe. Further, because of Nancy's dedication to expanding her knowledge base, she is able to quickly modify and progress any exercises, bring new equipment to her classes, and create circuits that are always new and exciting.
Nancy is a truly effective trainer because of her encouragement, ability to modify and progress moves, strong dedication to expanding her knowledge base.

I just finished a 4 week course on the MELT method taught by Nancy Korf (Aerobigirl Fitness LLC). And guys, I feel so good. MELT is a technique to eliminate stress, tension, and pain by rebalancing the nervous system and hydrating connective tissue. The original purpose of this post is was to take a minute to review and recommend Nancy’s course. It is awesome. It will help your body feel better. You should absolutely sign up the next time she offers it.

But honestly what I really want to do is recommend that you all get a little Nancy in your life. Since I met her, this woman has just continuously poured wisdom into my life. She brings such a passion for the formats she teaches, but even more so for the students that she teaches. I should know. I’m basically a Nancy groupie. I’ve followed her around from Ujam, Zumba Step, Yoga, Cross Core, BUTI yoga, and now MELT. And honestly, whatever the next thing is that she signs off on I will try that, too. Because if Nancy recommends something and thinks it is valuable, you know it is quality.

Every class I’ve taken from her, I’ve gotten something out of. Even if the class wasn’t something that was really my cup of tea, her mantra of “take what you want and throw the rest away” has allowed me to always challenge myself and leave just slightly better version of myself.

Take MELT, take Zumba, take BUTI yoga, or take her out for lunch. You won’t regret it. Thank you, Nancy!!!

I've known Nancy for over 25 years in the fitness industry. Nancy approached me after my class because she knew I was having plantar fasciitis/heel spur issues for the last 10 months and knew that the MELT Workshop would be extremely beneficial to me. Within the last 10 months, I have been dealing with daily pain from the moment I wake up to the moment that I go to bed. During this time, I have visited my regular doctor, had multiple appointments with a podiatry doctor, had physical therapy appointments, when to a shoe specialist, tried a variety of inner soles, had a cortisone shot, wore a walking boot, wore a night splint, had weekly massages and did a variety of stretches. Nothing helped until I attended Nancy's MELT Workshop a month ago. The results have been amazing! I have very little to no pain on a daily basis!! I'm back to teaching my regular classes and I feel fabulous! I would highly recommend Nancy's MELT Workshops to anyone that is having any issues with their hands and/or feet. The success that I have had with this MELT method has been life changing! Kudos to Nancy for helping me solve my foot issues!! You're the best!! Thank you! Kim P.

I hadn't worked out in decades and was sadly out of shape. Thankfully, I partnered with a friend to get back into an exercise routine and equally important to my fitness journey, we found Nancy!

You only have to take one class from Nancy to realize she's not just teaching movements or routines, but she really understands the physiology and mechanics of fitness. This important insight helps her craft classes that are not only challenging, but also offer the maximum physical benefit. In spite of the degree of challenge, she's always quick to offer difficulty options, based on personal level of abilities, level of fatigue or current injuries - and thankfully she never makes you feel less accomplished if you aren't performing like the person next to you.

Clearly Nancy knows what's she doing, but more importantly, she knows how to have fun doing it! Her friendly approach, her ability to make everyone feel welcome, her relaxed manner and her great sense of fun are all reasons I take as many Nancy-taught classes I can.

There are plenty of qualified instructors out there and while others can make me sweat, no one makes me laugh while sweating like Nancy! I still have a long way to go in my fitness quest, but with Nancy's help, I'll get there.
