I began practicing yoga in 2008, and became certified in January 2016. My love for yoga started with Iyengar style and methods, as my first teacher was herself in the training program for an Iyengar Certification. Although my love for Iyengar methods have not waned, I also teach my students the balance of yin style postures and restorative-style. My style is highly meditative, as I consistently cue my students to look inward and stay with the breath and sensations of the present moment. I also have an A.S. Degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine which further lends to my expertise in teaching my student's to keep their bodies safe and aligned in time in space. I teach classes both publicly and privately, in asana (posture), pranayama (breathing), svadhyaya (self-study), dhyana (concentration), and dharana (meditation). The samadhi is up to you!     Michelle actually teaches at the facility I work at and let me tell you.. she is amazing! I hear nothing but wonderful things from my members after they leave her class and they’re always so excited when she’s teaching one of our rotating Saturday classes. She’s so knowledgeable and so caring and just has the positive energy around her at all times. I’ve also personally taken a few of her classes and I always leave feeling calm and relaxed and just an over all positive self-loved feeling. I highly recommend you check out one of her classes, you will NOT regret it

    I saw Michelle for a private lesson and it was a really valuable experience for me. She was thoughtful in identifying what I wanted to learn and gave me great techniques to work on my postures. We also worked on breathing and mediation work, which I found very helpful. Michelle was very knowledgable and kind in helping me develop my practice. I would see her regularly if I lived closer.
