I remain passionate about fitness and wellness. I enjoy creating fitness programs for clients, based on their needs. It is even more enjoyable to watch a client succeed. I have been very fortunate that the "coolest people" have come to me for personal training.

One of my greatest strengths is the ability to modify exercises or asanas to accommodate physical "limitations". For example, a client with a history of falls wanted to be able to get up from a fall without assistance. He was unable to use his hands. He succeeded in his goal within 4 months.

    I have been taking part in Michele's "at work" strength training classes for quite a few years. Due to my many hip replacements, I am limited in what I can do for exercise, and had given up on being able to "work out" until Michele came along. Michele consistently goes above and beyond to put together a routine that I can do. I so appreciate her personal, dedicated attention to my needs and abilities. Her knowledge of the human body and how it works is extraordinary. Itis a privilege to be able to train with Michele! She is the best!

    I have been taking yoga and strength training from Michele since January, 2006. Michele is terrific and does a wonderful job of adjusting her work-outs to your needs. I have had several injuries over the years but have been able to continue to go to her classes because of this. In addition to becoming more flexible and strong, I have made new friends with whom I have much in common. I always look forward to Monday mornings and seeing Michele and the "girls."

    I have been taking strength training and yoga from Michele since January of 2006. Yoga has increased my flexibility and strength training has improved my muscle tone. Best of all, I thoroughly enjoy my classes and have made many new friends with whom I have much in common. I look forward to every Monday morning and seeing Michele and the "girls" again.

    I no longer live in Iowa, however, when I did I studied with Michele for several years. There's no one better for teaching yoga. I have/had intense physical injuries and Michele carefully worked with me so that I learned the yoga positions without ever putting stress on any part of my body. She's attentive in all aspects of yoga and I also employed her as a personal trainer. I am able to join any yoga class now and keep up the pace, while honoring my body. Working with Michele was the smartest thing I've ever done for my body, mind, and spirit.

    Until going to Michele's yoga class, I had always hurt myself when I tried to do yoga. So I was a bit hesitant this time. No need to worry! Michele tailors her teaching to the abilities of each person's body, and it has been pure pleasure to attend her classes for the past two years!
