My study of yoga began in 2008 in the Sivananda yoga lineage. A natural seeker with a BA in Philosophy, it was the transformational aspect of yoga?s philosophical roots that first inspired me to daily practice. Overtime, my natural athleticism and love of movement sifted my asana practice to powerful and playful Vinyasa yoga. In 2014, I completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training at The Mindful Body San Francisco with teachers Maile Sivertand Caroline Kelley. I continue to learn from their example of well-aligned and mindful yoga practice. I am honored to work as a yoga assistant to international yoga teachers and artists MC YOGI and Amanda Giacomini. I continue to practice, attend workshops, and study with senior teacher Peggy Orr and Iyengar teacher Tony Briggs.I consider myself a lifelong student of yoga, and the practice continues to deeply impact my life. I hope to bring the student spirit of curiosity and exploration into my own teaching. My aim as a teacher is to guide students through an asana practice that will strengthen the body, quiet the mind, and open the heart.
