I was born in Athens, Greece and grew up in Israel. I have devoted my life to fitness and dance. I studied dance at Bat Dor in Tel Aviv, studied Martha Graham technique and classical ballet, and continued my dance education in junior colleges such as Indian Valley College, Ohlone College, Foothill College, and American River College. During this time, I studied Jose Limon, Merce Cunningham, continued classical ballet and danced for many years at the Isadora Duncan Heritage Society in San Francisco, studying early American modern dance. I performed and choreographed as a student and also as a guest artist. I also participated in a Baroque Dance workshop at Stanford University. I practiced dance in private studios such as Zohar and Dance Vision in Palo Alto. As for my yoga experience, I took several semesters of Iyengar Ashtanga yoga at Foothill College and took a teacher's yoga training at the Yoga Society of San Francisco. I took another teacher's training years later at Ananda in Palo Alto. After that, I took a workshop on how to teach yoga to ill and injured individuals. I have been working diligently in the last year on an original method of combining dance and yoga together. I have taught yoga successfully for the last eighteen years at various spas, gyms and health facilities in the Bay Area and Sacramento. I currently train at East Wind Yoga six days a week.
