I'm an ACE certified personal trainer, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. I hold many other specialty certifications including but not limited to POUND fitness, indoor cycling and yoga. I believe that fitness education should be free and that personal training should be affordable. I also believe that we as a society should focus less on the exterior and focus more on the inside. What I refer to is nutrition. In order to function seamlessly, one must have a well-oiled machine. A Formula One race car does not run a on cheap unleaded gas, why should you!?

    Kat was my personal trainer for several years until she moved too far away from me (if she was close, she would still be my trainer!) I loved her enthusiasm, her sense of humour, and her willingness to push me just that little extra smidge. Further, because I was frequently out of town, she was always available thru text to help me understand what I was to be doing while on the road. I would recommend her without reservations to persons of any level that are wanting to edge their health forward.

    Kat was my personal trainer in Minnesota. I have an "extremely" busy schedule. Kat was always willing to work around my schedule to be sure I got my training sessions in. She was always listening to me to find out what my needs were whether it was losing weight, toning up or just stress release. She made the sessions fun and never boring. Each session was different and worked on my problem areas. Kat was extremely professional and at the same time became a very good friend. She would push me to my limits, but never over my limits as she knew what restrictions I had. I would always tense up in my shoulders and Kat would push my shoulders down constantly. To this day, when I tense up, I can feel her pushing my shoulders down!! She was an inspiration to make me try harder and to try new types of workouts to go "outside of my box". My only regret is that she moved away and now I know I can't find another trainer who can replace her in the same way. If the distance wasn't there, she would continue to be my #1 choice for a personal trainer and I would recommend her to everyone!! On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Kat an 11!!!

    Kat gave me my life back! I had gained weight while pregnant and maintained that weight until I met Kat. She did an amazing job of meeting me where I was at both physically and mentally. She kept workouts interesting and fun (ok, burpees & mountain climbers are not fun no matter who you are!) and I truly looked forward to our sessions. Each session was challenging and I did many things I had never done before. I NEVER got bored as each session was different from the last. Perhaps the most important aspect of Kat, for me personally, was that she believed I could do the workouts she planned for me and accomplish my weight loss goal when I didn't believe I could. To this day, when I'm struggling with a particular workout, I repeat a phrase she used with me: "you are stronger than you think you are." Her training sessions were well-rounded and professional. In addition to strength training & cardio, she incorporated various aspects of food & nutrition that were easy to make a part of every day life. Kat is simply the real deal and she changed my life! If only she would move back to Minnesota!

    I have been working with Kat for over 3 months, and absoultely love her! She is fun, energetic, and very motivating. I just turned 40 this year and wanted to keep things "in check", and she has been a tremendous help. I was working out at home before and was doing alright, but getting bored. She pushes me harder than I would ever push myself, and I've seen great results! My arms, legs and butt are more toned that they've been in years, and my confidence has been greatly improved. One of the best things that she does is keep things interesting. Every workout has been different than the last with combinations of cardio, weights, kickboxiing, and kettlebells. She makes me sweat my butt off, but I love it!
