Dori's knowledge, warmth and compassion allow you to feel you will be successful at yoga from your very first class with her. Dori guides you to be physically and mentally stronger and teaches numerous techniques to better understand yourself and allow you to have a better understanding of how to live life rather than just react to it. Dori's classes will leave you feeling uplifted and connected. I highly recommend any class Dori teaches.

We are thrilled to have Dori Daknis at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. She teaches several classes through the year ranging from Restorative Yoga and Chair Yoga to Outside Yoga. She also generously donates her time to teach Intro to Yoga once a month so that she may pass along her wisdom and passion for the practice to beginners. Dori is actively involved with the Nigra Arts Center and regularly shares yoga with people of all ages through several events including our Winter Funderland Day Camp, Meet the Instructors Open House and our Senior Soirée (for senior citizens). Additionally, Dori has gifted private Yoga classes during our largest fundraising event of the year: the Night Out Celebration. Dori Daknis is a compassionate, warm and loving person and we are so very fortunate to consider her part of the Nigra Arts Center Family. Namaste!

Dori is a great teacher can lead a class of 50 just as effectively as a class of 5 because she the ability to make everyone feel connected to her.

Her voice is perhaps the most powerful tool. She is able to confidently direct the class in and out of postures in a smooth and clear way that comforts you. Her authentic personality is more about warmth and compassion and she teaches from the heart, She creates a really beautiful and uplifting class. She makes everyone feel supported and included without compromising the quality of the moment for all levels and abilities of students.
