I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. This love for movement took me through four years dancing at University, and into teaching ballet, jazz, and contemporary. I am also a certified yoga instructor and MELT Method instructor. I am especially excited to be starting my career as a MELT instructor. After a serious back injury I was unable to walk for three weeks, and it was through learning MELT that I was finally able to not only get back to walking, but dancing, and even better than before. MELT is a self treatment technique that erases chronic pain, improves performance and slows down the aging process so we can all live better, not just longer. It works by rehydrating the connective tissue, and rebalancing our delicate nervous systems which get unbalanced and "stuck" through physical activity and aging.     My name is Harold and I am 88 years old. I have been working with Alyssa with the MELT hands and feet balls, and I am very pleased with the results so far. One of my specific issues was arthritis in my thumb which severely deformed the joint. After doing the MELT program consistently for the past 3 weeks, I have seen a marked improvement in my thumb. The swelling has gone down tremendously, there is much more mobility in the joint, and my thumb has actually straightened. My wife and I are using the MELT balls together, for 10 minutes a day, and we have seen an improvement in our balance AND our joint flexibility. My wife has seen a reduction in the number and severity of leg cramps which have caused her great pain for several years. Alyssa is very knowledgeable, and gave us personal attention, helping us with our specific questions and problems.
