Alexis Lech

Apex, NC 27502

My experience spans from both the military and mainstream one-on-one training. I served in the United States Marine Corps for four years and also served as a drill sergeant in US Army Reserves for 5 years. During my time as a drill sergeant, I helped build the physical strength and cardiorespiratory endurance of United States soldiers. I have been a licensed personal trainer under the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for 7 years and received my Fitness Nutrition Specialist Certification, also through NASM, about 3 years ago. My group exercise class style/format is motivational and instructional. Class participants are encouraged to get the most out of their workout by learning correct form and technique. They remain consistently challenged and well informed.

I highly recommend Alexis as a personal trainer. She has completely changed my outlook on exercise and is whipping me into shape. Even though I have target areas, my whole body is getting toned and the target areas improving. No worries of getting bored; she keeps things interesting with challenging and varied workouts (indoor/outdoor, cardio/weight training). An extra perk is she always has an awesome workout playlist! Not only does Alexis challenge me with intense workouts, she also gives great advice on nutrition. Alexis is one of the best investments I’ve made; not only has my body transformed but I have more energy, sleep better, and feel great overall. If you are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and professional trainer, call Alexis today!

After numerous failed attempts at self-training, I came across a news-
paper article about Alexis, signed up, and seven months later I am
literally a changed person: a dress size smaller, climbing stairs like a
teenager and showing normal blood pressure and diabetes numbers with
out medications! Alexis's ability to plan appropriately for a 77 year-old,
out-of-shape female is nothing short of amazing. She has monitored my
weight training and cardio workouts with careful attention to my fitness
level, never over-extending me nor soft-pedaling my training. I truly
value the fact that Alexis is both patient and methodical in her approac
to fitness, which gives the trainee a sense of comfort with the process.
I am beyond pleased with the results I am seeing and feeling. It's a
life-transformation! Alexis is the fitness professional I should have had
    years ago. FIVE STARS PLUS!

When I started working with Alexis, I told her I only had a couple requests--please kick my ass into shape and please mix up the workouts. Since then, I've gotten into the best shape of my life--dropped 10% body fat, 20 pounds and inches in the right places--and hardly ever done the same workout twice. She motivates me in ways that are individualized for my personality. She's always positive, supportive and willing to explore new workout approaches. She listens to me and adapts my workouts if necessary depending on my physical (or mental :)) status. Working with Alexis has been a real pleasure, and I look forward to working with her to take my fitness to the next level.

I have been working with Alexis since January. I first started working with her as part of a New Year's resolution to start a fitness routine. Here it is August and I am still working out with her twice a week on my lunch break from work. Alexis is wonderful. She motivates me and as someone else has commented my 30 minutes with her takes the stress away from work and I go back energized for the rest of the afternoon. I like how she mixes up my exercises at each session. She knows my strengths and weaknesses and targets each of those areas. She has patience with my abilities, but pushes me to extend myself. I am looking forward to reassessing my goals and raising the bar for myself.

I have been attending Alexis's group classes for over two years and have been working with her individually for ~6 months. She pushes me to my limit at each workout and since working with her individually, I have had a marked improvement in my cardio strength that I never gained despite years of running. She always mixes up the workouts to include a variety of weight, pylometric, metabolic, body weight, interval, or TRX training. I feel like I take away exercises that I can accomplish at home. Her Zumba classes are particularly spectacular-- fun choreography that isn't too 'dancy' with hard to follow footwork. At the same time, you do get quite a cardio workout.
